Ronnie Neville – All Irish Comedy

Ronnie Neville has traversed the world as a salesman, honing his talent for comedy, accruing over 100 stories of his exploits.  I’m not sure how many of those he shared this evening, as with the breakneck speed of his delivery and no apparent need for the microphone, he moves from one hilarious tale to the next, hardly pausing for breath.  To say Ronnie is high energy is an understatement; by the end of the show, he’s red in the face and wild-eyed, and we’ve slightly run over (no one minds).  Ronnie will always be the funniest man in the pub or at a mate’s party – and this is his style of comedy, drawing you in, wide-eyed and engaging with a ready smile.  This is comedic storytelling at its best, often mad and random, providing everything from a chuckle to a belly laugh to something downright side splittingly hilarious.  The crowd are on board from the get-go, and Ronnie clearly enjoys the evening just as much as we do.  On the way out, he hugs everyone, and we feel like we’ve just met our new best mate. Same time tomorrow, then?Just The Tonic Nucleus, until 25th August  Ronnie Neville: All Irish Comedy | Comedy | Edinburgh Festival Fringe (edfringe.com)
