You’ll enjoy a healthy breakfast at White Pine in Covent Garden, which has nutritious and plant-based options. Their vegan-friendly selections feature freshly made juices, protein shakes, smoothie bowls, rye bread sandwiches and wholesome treats, all designed to nourish both body and soul. In addition to their delicious offerings, you can browse the curated collection of Nordic-inspired home décor, plants, books and Scandinavian beauty products. Whether looking for healthy eating options in Covent Garden, juice bars in WC2, or a cosy Nordic café, White Pine is the ideal destination to enhance your well-being.
“An adorable Nordic café in the heart of Covent Garden serving nutritious drinks and wholesome food in a relaxing environment,” Homegirl London.
White Pine Healthy Breakfast Menu
Their vegan superfood smoothie bowls are a powerhouse of nutrients. They blend superfoods with creamy coconut yoghurt and coconut milk to create a rich and satisfying base. Each bowl is meticulously topped with fresh fruits, seeds, and granola, providing a perfect balance of taste and texture. I tried the golden turmeric bowl, which features vibrant turmeric, mango and banana mix. Other options include their blue matcha bowl and acai berry bowl.
White Pine also offers a range of vegan snack pots. These are perfect for a quick, nutritious snack or a small meal on the go. The espresso overnight oats pot, infused with organic espresso and topped with dark chocolate pieces and raspberries, offers a delightful morning kickstart. Meanwhile, the tropical detox chia pot provides a refreshing burst of flavours with its mango, strawberries and pomegranate mix.
If you want a morning treat that doesn’t make you feel guilty, try the carrot zucchini pistachio cake. Raw, gluten-free options like the salted caramel protein shortbread or the tahini crunch protein energy balls are also available.
A nutrient-packed liquid breakfast might be preferable; I can vouch for the fresh, cold-pressed skincare juice with spinach, apple, ginger and lime. On another visit, I tried one of their signature protein shakes, which are excellent. The blueberry version includes blueberries, banana, Skyr, organic milk and a generous amount of chia seeds. In addition to these, the menu also features a selection of iced drinks, organic coffees and artisan teas.
At lunchtime, you can try vegan rye sandwiches featuring award-winning Lithuanian scalded rye bread. The club sandwich features mashed avocado, vegan chicken, tomato, and a zesty vegan pesto. Another popular choice is the smoky aubergine sandwich with vegan cream cheese and pesto.
